Hey everyone else! Throne of Eldraine is here, and itâ€™s time for the Commander Set Review. Iâ€™m going to use the rating that is same from last time with one rating that is new. Here it’s:
Commander: this card is desired by you into the demand zone at the game. Its use that is best is to lead the charge since the cornerstone of your deck, but it could probably match your 99 as well.
Build-Around: This card can be a player that is huge the theme of your deck. It either allows the theme on your own or is something youâ€™re seeking to simply take advantage of throughout the course of your ideal game. Itâ€™s probably well worth dedicating other slots in your deck to cards that work with a build-around.
Powerhouse: This cardâ€™s not really about synergy, but it is good all by itself. (This is the new one.)
Role Player: This card might never be the cornerstone of a deck list, however itâ€™s an part that is very important of motor or strong enough on its own to merit inclusion that is potential. This category also covers cards that look good enough to try out but donâ€™t seem like apparent winners.
Tech Card: Counterplay is important, and if a card does not fit into among the categories that are above is good enough at countering other techniques, itâ€™ll be included right here.
Niche Inclusion: This card might make your deck if you have a deckbuilding restriction whether itâ€™s self-imposed based on theme, a energy level consideration, or a card availability concern.
Keep in mind, Iâ€™m not primarily a â€ścompetitive EDHâ€ť player, so hear that is youâ€™ll cards from the more relaxed perspectiveâ€“I want the game become fun for all, but I also want to truly have a good shot at winning.
